GDS have recently completed stabilisation and anchoring work on a residential Sydney shoreline. This Sea Wall restoration required specialty engineering and anchoring solutions to be safely accomplished.

Permanent and temporary ground anchors installed on future Sydney Metro station sites. All anchors designed, manufactured, installed and tested to TfNSW B114 specification.

Close to completion, GDK have provided drilling, anchoring and shotcrete services on a restoration project for the Liverpool street heritage site.

GDK have completed fast turnaround stabilization works, including anchoring and concreting on excavation for new residential development in Kogarah NSW.

We were engaged to drill and install hold-down anchors for a new lift shaft, as part of Transport for NSW’s train station upgrades. Our 10-tonne hydraulic drill rig made light work of sandstone.

Working with Lend Lease on the Barangaroo development we were contracted for the installing and ongoing servicing of dewatering pumps. The proximity to water was a major project consideration and keeping the basement areas dry was vital to the construction of the basements and building foundations.

Working with Advanced Foundation Solutions (AFS), we augered down to remove and replace the dam wall filter material using our PSM20 twin head.
AFS won the Civil Constructors Federation Cat 3 Award for 2011, and we are proud to have helped them achieve that outcome.

Working with long time client Ford Civil Contracting we provided anchors and concreting at the old Harold Park race course.

Major residential development Royal Shores is one of the larger projects GDS has worked on. There were a number of individual sites within the development and we worked on a rotating basis.

Our specialist team carried out the seismic stabilization of a chimney at the Thomas Walker Boat House in the Rivendell School grounds for the Public Works Department of NSW.
The stabilization entailed working at the top of the chimney and using a hand portable coring rig to place and grout a stainless steel bar to strengthen the original masonry work against earthquake events.
